Walking on the Clouds

On a beautiful Sunday morning, I hiked up to Cucamonga Peak.  I arrived at 5:30 a.m. and the parking lot was already full.  I had to park on the side of the street at a hillside.  I slowly paced myself on the trails.  There were many hikers.  I missed my turn near the last mile up Cucamonga Peak.  I lost 15 minutes as I back tracked back.  I finally reached Cucamonga Peak.  The views were so breathtaking at the Pride Rock at Cucamonga Park.  I saw Edgar Alvarez as he ascended.  We took a couple of photos together.

Then I decided to head down.  I slowly headed down because it was quite steep and rocky.  I finally reached my car at a turtle pace.
