Weather was excellent, we ended up hiking for around 11 hours because my mom was slow and we took too many snack breaks. I enjoyed seeing the mushrooms on the decaying trees and on the ground lots of mossy trees and rocks, and ferns everywhere. When there was around 2 miles left, my legs felt like spaghetti. It made me happy seeing a tiny bit of leftover snow at the top, which my mom did not let me throw at her. I loved the hike!
