The weather was nice, trail conditions were good, and there were lots of rocks everywhere. It was very tiring reaching the first 7 miles. Had lots of breaks. My toe started to hurt and I thought that Tommy Copper socks were good enough, but I suppose not. I do have good hiking shoes from Asolo, though. I used my pole a lot. Reached the peak at around 3:30pm, and hiked back in the darkness. Thankfully, we brought lots of headlights and flashlights. We encountered a lady who was hiking without any headlights at all. Wasn't sure if she was a ghost or not. Also hiked during the lunar eclipse.
