Mount Baden-Powell

The Angeles Crest Highway through Wrightwood to the Vincent Gap trailhead just opened! You need a Big Pines Parking Pass if you park in the lot. You can purchase one at the self service kiosk for $5 cash (no cards)  next to the bathroom. Or you can park across the street with an Adventure Pass. We started at 7:15am under some shade, got exposed as we got closer to the top. The trail is in nice shape, no burn scar. We reached the peak and enjoyed lunch. There wwas no summit signs, or flag. Total hiking time 3 hours 30 minutes, plus a 30 minute lunch break. Fantastic hike, short & sweet with nice elevation gain!
