Mission peak on sunny Sunday

Hiked loop to the peak, up the fire road, down the backside. It was a very sunny day, luckily there were cool breezes to take the edge off. The second half was very steep and dry in sections with thorny bushes adjacent to the trail. We hiked with my 10 year old nephew so we moved pretty slowly on the descent.
