Cucamonga Peak July 8th 2025

Three peaks down, three to go! Hiked Cucamonga during the week and trail traffic was minimal past Icehouse Saddle. We had the peak to ourselves.
The day was beautifully sunny with coolness in the shade and warm in the sunlight.
Icehouse Canyon river was flowing freely with a surprising amount of water for July.
Came back fours days later to hike Mt Baldy on a Sunday and Icehouse Canyon trailhead for Cucamonga and Ontario peaks parking was crowded and overflowing at 6:30 in the morning.
Highly suggest doing this during the week to avoid the crowds although I suspect most are coming for the river and not the hike.
