It was very warm on the trail and a lot of smoke off in the distance from a wildfire up in Kern. I added in 2 additional peaks (Burnham and Throop) making the mileage more the usual. There is a permit fee in the parking lot now or you can park across the road. The trail is in great condition.

    Baden-Powell was a fun hike, I really dug the elevation gain and the switchbacks, grinding up the mountain. One of my favorites this year.
