Stunning views, beautiful weather and vicious switchbacks

While the trail was in good condition, I did need Alltrails to ensure I did not stray off on another trail during the beginning. The weather was perfect with highs in the low 80s, and an occasional cloud or breeze to help cool off when the sun was getting a bit too warm. The trail was pretty empty, but those I did pass were respectful of the quiet nature and friendly. This was a nice trail to start the challenge off with as far as length and elevation. I will definitely be back to hike more often!
