From Beach to Peak

From beach to peak! And not just uphill. There are many step-sections along this trail. Fog laid across much of landscape, to start. Wonderfully clear for amazing San Francisco and Bay Area views from the fire lookout tower. Was thankful to have seen part of the famous and gorgeous Dipsea Trail due to Steep Ravine Trail closure and detour. Along the way, it was suggested we get ice cream at Parkside snack counter when we were done. After hiking all day, we were ready for dinner. Definitely recommend the adjacent Parkside restaurant. However, by the time we finished dinner, the snack counter had closed and we missed out on the ice cream.
