South Fork to San Gorgonio Loop

This was a fun hike. The water at the creeks were flowing strong. The weather was good. I went up via Dry Lake and descended via Dollar Lake Saddle. Along the hike on the way up, I met the group Expeditions Travel Tercero who were training for an upcoming trip to Mount Whitney and hiking the same route that I was. We ended up being the ones together on the trail, sometimes I would be ahead of them, sometimes some of their members would be ahead.  We all made it to the summit, took each others’ photos and even shared some food between us. I left ahead of them but they didn’t stay long at the summit either and some of them caught up with me near Dollar Lake Saddle so we also ended up hiking down together sometimes they were ahead sometimes I was ahead.
