Parking: Street, no pass needed. Restrooms at trailhead. Weather: cold in the morning and warmed up.

I took my MIL for her first hike ever with her dog! I packed my 1 year old and my 3 year old walked the whole thing!

Started about 7am and made it to the top about 9am. Spent some time with the littles at the top. Headed back down about 10:30am and back to the car by maybe 12 or 1pm.

Then headed over to Mom’s for some pie a la mode.

On the way down we ran into some ladies from Orange County who were dressed like witches. They got a kick out of seeing my 3yr old doing the hike on her own.

Unfortunately there weren’t any trail markers at the top, didn’t see the USGS marker either.
