After hiking Strawberry peak the day before, I spent the afternoon at Manker Flats for a little R&R. It was glorious – I enjoyed almost 3 hours with the whole area entirely to myself. This had never happened in all the times I have come up to Baldy before. Got started the next day around 5am just before dawn and summited just in time for Second Breakfast. I had a chipmunk friend to keep me company there (sorry buddy – not supposed to share with you no matter how cute or insistent you are). 😊

Back down to the saddle and on to Ontario Peak next!
