In which we pretend we’re part of the fellowship of the ring

The rains had come and caused some of the worse flooding in the area that prompted road closures. But about a week or so later, I decided I would make an attempt to do this trail. Thankfully the main road to Angelus Oaks was opened and for the most part the trail itself was okay but some parts had been washed away and it required some scrambling. It was a cold and sunny. There were some lovely views and there were was one part where I decided to run and felt as if I was Aragorn tracking down the hobbits taken by the Uruk-hai like in Lord of The Rings. This is a hike that definitely is best to wear pants as there are lots of thorny bush along the trail.  Enjoyed the hike and look forward to doing it again.
