Black Mountain: The Crowning Jewel of the 6 Peaks

Took on a 13.5-mile out-and-back to Black Mountain, pushing through the climb to a cold, wind-swept summit. The tough conditions made the finish feel earned, and meeting two hikers celebrating the completion of the 6 Pack of Peaks Challenge at the top added to the sense of shared accomplishment before the long return.
