Getting up at 1:30 am to be at the trailhead at 3:00 am was super rough. And hiking up this trail with rock scramble sections in the dark was sketchy. But seeing the dawn from the top of Strawberry Peak was worth it. We were determined to be the first to arrive, so when we saw some hikers following after us, we picked up the pace and won, of course! We got to the top in plenty of time and watched the spectacular show of pinks, oranges and bright reds streak the sky, followed by the bright sun. One of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. ❤️
