Backpacked it clockwise, set camp at Spruce Grove. By 8pm I got scared and left 🥲
I walked like those speed walking athletes, from Spruce Grove to Chantry’s Flat in an hour with my 22lbs pack, moved by the fear of the chupa cabra.
No, honestly. A few dudes saw me setting camp there alone and I got scared..
The gate to Angeles National Forest was closed (closed at 8pm). I had to call an officer to help me.
