I finally had a chance to take advantage of the “hike any peak from any challenge” option that was introduced this year. This is a shorter, pleasant hike that offers fantastic views of Griffith Peak and Charleston Peak. I also visited Mummy Spring and Bristlecone Peak as spurs off the main route. Best of all, it wasn’t 110 degrees like down below in nearby Las Vegas!
