Great start to train for my Golden ticket to the JMT thru hike this Summer! Raining from 8am-12:30???? then clear skies and some really crazy red slime mud ascend of last 1/2 mile. We stayed at peak 20 mins & started back. We completed at just AFTER dark without headlamps. That will never happen again! I will always pack that now. I am the slowest hiker I know so I’m not as mich of a mph rain goat as an iguana or something slower! But I made it. Thanks six pack for making This group for me to be motivated and excited! Yay ????
