We saw super tiny patches of snow that have stuck around in the shade since the full on dusting the week prior. The trail was wet and muddy in some places, but not difficult to traverse. We started early… by the time we finished around 11:30 a.m., the parking lot was FULL and people were waiting for spots to park. Without pushing ourselves too hard, we averaged 22 min/mi. With a few leisure slow-downs and some time to tape feet at the top, our total trip was 3.5 hours.
There were mountain bikers on the trail, but none riding too fast or aggressively.
Overall it was a beautiful, easy hike. Lots of switchbacks give you more mileage than necessary problem but would also make it a good test run for anyone unsure about committing to more challenging peaks. This is DEFINITELY the easiest of them all.
