We started our hike at 8am passing little patches of snow and tightly closed buding flowers along the way. The trail was clearly marked and easy to follow and a relatively easy hike until the last quarter mile where it became quite steep. We got to the top around 10:30am with mostly clear skies and temperatures in the low 70's. We ate some snacks, took pictures and hung out for about 30 min until another group showed up.

On our way back, the little budding flowers began to open up and made the return trip almost magical. We got back to the trail head around 1:30. I'd say it was an overall success!
