Started around 9 am. The weather was 46º F with overcast. Trail was really quite being a Friday morning. Trail conditions were damp and in a couple spots there were unavoidable puddles. Took our time getting to the top as there were several scenic spots we wanted to stop and take in. Unfortunately, the last 0.2 miles of the hike is closed for repairs. The alternative route leads you into the upper parking lot. You then need to take a series of stairs (around 160 in total). Once we reached the upper parking lot the cold winds started picking up which made us cut our enjoyment of the views a bit short. Shortly after starting our descent we were protected from the winds by the backside of the mountain. The views at the top a beautiful and the hike itself offers many amazing views as well.
