I hiked with Philip Yoho and David Walker from Islip Saddle to Vincent Gap. This was my first snow hike, my first peak of 2018 and my first hike without a wrist splint following surgery. It felt amazing to be out on the trails and learning how to hike in snow/ice conditions. We hit up Hawkins, Throop, Burnham and Baden Powell before the day ended. It was a bit scary to see so many people attempt this hike without the right gear. We were prepared, so that felt good.
