Piestewa Peak – formally Squaw Peak

This is the first time I have ever hiked up Piestewa Peak- it’s rated as “hard” on AlLTrails app.  I would say that it is certainly a workout – cardiovascular and legs.  The most difficult parts are (1) the amount of people going up and down (2) full sun exposure ( wear a hat) and the last quarter of the hike as it is a staircase climb to the top.   I don’t really consider this a hike and it is my least favorite of the 6 peaks.   It was a pretty day and lots of wildlife / wildflowers.
