A tough alternate route to the peak due to the fire closure…very steep and rocky. The peak is littered with radio towers and clouds obscured the view so it was a difficult hike with little reward. I would not take this route again. Holy Jim is a more gentle route, so I would wait to see if that reopens on time in September if this peak is on your must do list.
