Southern Desert in Bloom

Arrived around 7am and found only one other car in the parking lot. We had a group of four adults. We didn’t encounter any other hikers on the trail until the junction of Sunset Vista and Hunter. The cable ladders and exposure for the last 3/4 of mile were a little intimidating to some of my group. I reached the summit in about 2 hours finding about six other hikers on top. With some of my group deciding to stay below the ladders, I took a few pictures and headed down. It was a beautiful spring day with wildflowers blooming everywhere.
