First Solo

This was my first, big solo hike. I was a little nervous and it was obvious that the woman at the gate was too, until she realized I came prepared. At that point she told me about going through treasure loop and adding a little bit more mileage to it, so why not! About a quarter of the way up, I felt like I tore my quad, but everyone was saying I was, “more than halfway.” I heard that about 5 times. It was a tough hike, but absolutely beautiful summit! Cannot wait to conquer this one again!
