I love Flatiron but it’s been almost 25 years since I hiked to the top. I was a little nervous to do this solo but seeing a few other female solo hikers gave me some confidence although each blew right past me. I randomly ran into a rowing friend and met a nice couple who were of similar pace on that last mile up. My favorite part is when you come up past the last climbing/scrambling piece and you see the nice leisurely trail to the end of the flatiron.
