Scramble to the top

Trail conditions were very good. There is a couple of scrambling areas but nothing too hard. The weather was warm and windy especially near the saddles, there’s two. We saw what appeared to be a gopher snake on the way back by the ridge line. It was playing dead but moved up a large bush once we disturbed it enough. I felt good all of the way. Had to slow down and take some breaks once the climb started at the sign to Strawberry Peak. I went with my hiking buddy/wife, Olive oil who’s also doing the challenge.
