I started at 9:15 am. There were only 2 spots left on the parking lot.
The trail is wide and never really steep. It’s great to run as well as there are not a lot of rocks.
It’s mostly shady and you have nice views of the valley while hiking. The summit offer a nice 360 view. The fog was still thick over Santa Cruz as I got to the summit. I saw a big rattlesnake crossing the trail near the summit!
I took me 2h15 min to complete the loop. I ran some portions on the way down.
