Hell to the no! Wasson Peak.

I got lost,  there was no reception and couldnt use maps or the All Trail application.  I made it to a Trail Head and took a picture of the map.  It was a never ending litany of switchbacks zigzagging to the top.  Every time I thought I was at the top I had yet one more switchback. I finally saw this incredible massive peak to my right and thought “if it was that one,  I would turn around”….Well,  surprise,  surprise!  It was that very one! Several times I thought about turning around but I had made it so far already that it was easier to just keep my legs moving.  It was a hot day and I only say one more hiker which was OK with me since I enjoy the loneliness of the mountain.  I felt the shivers a couple of times and had to find a rock to sit down or the shade of one of those gigantic sahuaros.  Long,  long,  but very beautiful hike.
