Went up with my friend Kathy today and saw a couple other #sixpackofpeaks hikers! Glad to know so many of us were out enjoying the trails today.

Arrived about 8:15AM after staying over in Murrieta to avoid waking up at dawn. Immediately started out on the trail.

We had a few people ahead of us, but enjoyed a moderate pace. Saw tons of little black lizards and two horned lizards! Didn’t run into any snakes.

There was some water on the trail, but the trail wasn’t terribly washed out anywhere. Took our time with and enjoyed our view at the top (avoided the bees and stepped off the immediate peak a bit). Just some overgrown bushes but nothing too difficult to spot in terms of trail makers.

Took us Bout 5 hours round trip. If I would change anything I’d start earlier.
