Used a less known trail head (so we thought) due to a bear attack day prior causing closure of trail we would have used. Guess others did what we did. Wasn't bad though. Arrived early enough and easily found parking in residential. AM fog was nice and cleared well before summit so views just grew more beautiful.
The bugs were annoying about a third of the way up and until we lost them at same area on descent. Face nets saved the day.
Lovely out and back hike. It's not steep but it is mostly all up and the all down. Knees and toes feel it same and next day but worth it.
