Set the alarm for 3:30 am and we were out the door by 4 and on the trail at 5:30. With such an early start parking was easy and the trail very quiet. The weather was perfect, cool with some clouds and no wind.
There was a small rock slide on devils backbone trail but other than that the trail was clear of obstacles. After reaching the summit we returned on the same trail we went up, Devils Backbone and by this time there were many people on the trail!!!
