My hiking buddy and I have been waiting a while for the trail to be mostly snow free, so we were excited to finally hear that most of the snow is melted and hike this beauty! We arrived at Ice House parking lot around 6 and lot was full, so plan on early arrival.  We hiked from icehouse to the sadddle and then took the Cucamonga peak trail from there. The stream is beautiful right now, with lots of beautiful sights on the way to the saddle. Cucamonga trail did have several patches of snow on the trail, they were all manageable with poles and caution. The peak was fairly windy and cold but the  view was beautiful! Loved this hike and highly recommend!
