Having done the hike from Stinson , I opted for the Mill Valley Route. Starting at old railroad fire road heading all the way along this trail to the summit and then back down through Tamelpa Trail and back onto the old rail road fire road. Awesome hike , rivers and water falls were full from rains. Only issue was downhill on Tamelpa was steep and slippery in some sections and with 25lb backpack and walking poles the gulleys were tough at times.
great alternate option for those who have done Stinson / Dipsea etc before.
