We had an absolutely splendid hike to Mt Sizer. It was misty with fog rolling in at 8:00 am, but that burned off by 9:00 and it was a gorgeous cool, breezy and sunny day. Tons of wildflowers with many butterflies and dragonflies magically flitting about. We took off our boots twice to cross Coyote Creek to avoid hiking with wet feet. On the second crossing we rested and enjoyed cooling off our tired feet. We hiked clockwise, which is the best way in my opinion. Descents are much harder on the knees and I’d rather hike up the 1.5 mile killer hill! Met quite a few backpackers along the way. A challenging but beautiful hike!
