There was a good amount of slush and snow on the trail once I got up to the saddle. Ice was starting to fall off of the trees and almost got me a few times. Mostly everyone was hiking from the saddle on with microspikes but they aren’t needed. Trekking poles were a life saver when it came to hiking in the snow/ice. The weather overall was very nice! Trail conditions were good. I met some very awesome people on this hike! Will be doing this trail again once the snow clears up! I highly recommend this trail!
