We starteed at 7ish and it was chilly but clear. Passed abandoned cabins and hiked along a stream for a bit. Tennsy bits of snow started showing up along the sides of the path and turned into larger patches along the saddle. As the sun hit the trees, chuncks of ice started to fall off them, nothing big though. We threw our microspkes on to cross a maybe 20ft patch of snow but it turned out to be unnessacary, someone carved an alternate path around, but better safe than sorry. No problems the rest of the way and clear with a slight breeze at the top. We summited at noon (we took our time up to take pictures) and ate lunch before heading down around 1. Zipped down and made it back to the car at 4:20. Great hike, great views. Unfortunatly I ended up with a migrane on the way home…next time ill remember my ibuprofin! I highly recomend this hike!
