Left Santa Barbara at 0345 and arrived at the Icehouse Canyon trail around 0615 and there were only a few cars in the parking lot.

Filled out the waiver and began my journey to Cucamonga Peak via Icehouse Canyon. The water is flowing beautifully, and the trail is in great condition with no obstructions. The hike was absolutely stunning with the most perfect weather! A little bit of snow on the switchbacks heading up to the peak, but I did not have to put on my microspikes to safely hike around. A lot of chipmunks doing their thing, and listening to the birds chirping was a very pleasant experience.

There is a part where you cross the dry creek bed in the canyon where it can be confusing and lose the trail, but the GAIA GPS app helped keep me on the trail.

Such a beautiful trail with stunning views along the way and at the peak.
