The weather was mild as we started the hike in the morning, and it was cool enough at the top that we didn't stick around very long. Dark clouds were moving in, so we wanted to get back down. We only got sprinkled on in the very early afternoon as we were heading down. There was enough snow for the last mile that it sometimes made following the trail a bit tricky. We had micro spikes with us, but we managed through the patches of snow just using hiking poles. It was a fun hike, and although shorter in distance, it still gave us a nice cardio workout!
