It was a beautiful hike. The weather was in the high 70’s- low 80’s, sunny with a nice breeze. There were parts of the trail that required you to pay close attention to the white painted diamonds to stay on trail. The cactus flowers were blooming providing an extra splash of color to an already beautiful backdrop of the red cliffs.
