Hiked with a group

I hiked with a meet up. This was my first time hiking Humprey’s. I have been wanting to hike this for so long! It took us 11 hours to finish the whole thing, mostly because we were not fully prepared. There was a lot of snow, at some point  knee high. The first couple of miles were pretty cleared. Then the next 2 were pretty much all snow. The last mile clears up but that is a different challenge. From our group, some had spikes for the shoes and other did not. I did not, so going down was a lot of sliding. The trail was difficult to find die to the snow. A lot of people kinda just created their own trails. Regardless of the slip ups and falls, we had a ton of fun. I am so proud of myself for doing this hike and meeting some great people. Theast mile was especially challenging for me due to the altitude. However, I took it slow and steady and thankfully we made it to the top. I think this was my longest hike, but also one of the best!
