Mount Tam Birthday Hike!

This hike was fantastic. Admittedly, it was the hottest day of the year so that was a little difficult at times, but the shade was AMAZING. There was potable water at all the campsites and at the peak, so that was a non issue. It was an incredibly beautiful hike, one of the best I’ve experienced in California. The last couple miles seemed to last forever, but I don’t think I got enough sleep the night before so that may have had something to do with it! I saw a peacock, snakes, squirrels, chipmunks, deer, and I was even lucky enough to have a bird poop on my head!
