Hiked early on a Saturday morning after a few weeks of rainfall.  Foliage was green and beautiful, not a single soul on the trail until the last 3 miles back to the car. You can see Catalina across the distance, San Clemente as well as all the California poppy bloom on the east side. The scramble up to the top was a bit challenging, and I slightly lost the trail on the way down, but found my way back. Definitely a beautiful and moderate hike to do in Southern California! Would return.
