Stairway to Heaven

We hiked up the Ski Hut trail to the peak and descended down the Devil’s Backbone for a 10.75 mile circuit.  The hike up Ski Hut was relentlessly steep but the reward at the end made it worthwhile!  The signage on this trail has improved  significantly since the last time we hiked it a few years ago.  It was a gorgeous day although just a bit windy at the top, as in hold onto your hats.  Coming down off the peak we saw some bighorn sheep.  The trails were all in great shape and it was nice to see how clean they were considering all the people on the moutain this past weekend.
