My girlfriend joined me on this one and we started just after 7:30am and there was shade for a bit, though this was gone by the time we reached the saddle and there was almost none on the way back. We made the mistake of starting down the Strawberry Meadows trail, though we didn't go too far as I had a feeling something was off and checked the map and realized we went the wrong way. We brought some strawberries to the top with us, and they were the best strawberries I've ever tasted, though it's probably because I had to work so hard to earn them. I'd definitely do the hike again, though probably when it's a bit cooler out. For some reason photos weren't uploading, so I've added a google photos album link.
