I paused on the “bugs” question. There were zero on the way up, but I’m still nursing some mighty “no see um” bites from the peak which lead to feet that resembled a 9 month pregnant woman.
Besides all of that, what an amazing hike with a breathtaking view! There’s a lodge up top where we enjoyed a well earned burger. This same lodge also offers a sunset happy hour where you can sip on a Mount Greylock IPA while taking in the incredible sights.
Can’t wait to hike it again… this time armed with bug spray.
