We parked early in the morning on Stinson beach and headed to Matt Davis Trailhead. The trail has a good mix of incline and flat surface. We had amazing views of the sun rising through the trees. We reached the peak through the trail “Railroad Grade Fire Road” and the views from the peak was just extraordinary. We then headed back on “Fern Creek Trail” and Alpine. The best part of the walk back was climbing down the ladder. It was about 18 miles overall and we stopped by The Parkside cafe for some coffee and dessert.
