Started at the trailhead at about 8:30 am. The day was going to be a warm one. I dragged a friend along with me on this one. It was a beautiful day. Came across six other hikers, two of which were for sure in the challenge and O’Leary was their last. Had the pleasure of visiting the fire tower. Would love to have that job!! Scooped out my final three peaks from up there. The Museum fire was still smoldering so the valley was pretty smoky. The lava flow was pretty cool too.
