It was a cool 27 degrees when we left the tram station. About a mile past the round valley junction sign we decided to put on our microspikes due to all the ice on the trail. By the time we got to the primitive outhouses the snow was a few inches deep. When we got to Wellmans Divide we got out the hammocks and jetboil to make some coffee and take a break with incredible views. At the peak the winds were about 20 mph, so we took a few quick pictures and headed back down. We returned our permits and boarded the tram, happy to have completed another so cal peak.
